David Henderson

We sat down with David to learn more about his favorite workouts, some of his favorite Post Workout meals that have made him "King of Bulking", and a little more about the beginnings of his Fitness journey.  

Where are you originally from?

A:  I am originally from Arkansas!

How old are you when you first got into fitness?

A: I was in about 3rd grade. My dad was training for the Wichita River Run and I was inspired to go run with him a few times. A few years later, in 7th grade, i went out for the high school track team. I continued to do various workouts up until about 3 years ago when i made bulking up my focus.  I haven't looked back since!

Where’s your favorite place to workout?

A: Garage. Nobody working in between sets and I am in nature's element. Summers are grueling hot.  I like keeping it old school!

What’s your favorite post-workout meal?


Besides a Patriot Protein whey? Steak! Medium rare, with a side of broccoli.  An all American Post-Workout meal, that will definitely help you BULK!

What are some of your hobbies outside of fitness?

A:  Baseball, coaching anything, and running a volunteer organization.

If you could work out with one person, dead or alive, who would it be?

A: Terry Crews. He would be the coolest workout partner ever. (Can you say peck pop...)

If you had to train only one body part for the rest of your life, what would you train and why?

A:  Definitely shoulders. They indirectly work the entire upper body and some lifts even work the lega. I think I could arrange a workout plan around shoulders only for the rest of my life!

If you could skip training a body part for the rest of your life, what would it be and why?

A:  Calves...if they'd just cooperate and grow without any exercise. I do a lot of calf work but they seem to be conditioned for the years I spent running.
